The bird outing at Lake Alice WMA is a jointly sponsored event by NNYA and the Town of Plattsburgh Recreation Department.
Join Betsy Miner and Ken Adams at one of Clinton County’s birding hotspots, where nearly 150 species have been recorded. There is a wide variety of habitats, including open water, marsh, field, shrub meadow, and mixed forest. We will likely see many spring migrants and resident songbirds. Birders of all experience levels are welcome.
Group size limited to 15. Priority given to Town of Plattsburgh residents and NNYA members, so please be sure to register by calling Erin Pangborn at 518-562-6860 or emailing erinp@townofplattsburgh.org.
Please bring: Binoculars (we will have a few pairs with us), water, snacks, insect repellent, sunscreen.
