Bird Outing at Indian Creek Nature Center

Come celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with an outing co-sponsored by Indian Creek Nature Center and NNYA.

This year’s message for World Migratory Bird Day is “Every Bird Counts- your Observation”.

Join Eileen Wheeler, Dr. Susan Wilson (an Ornithology Instructor at St. Lawrence University), and Mary Beth Warburton (NNYA board member), who are all experienced trip leaders.

Indian Creek is a known hotspot for migrating as well as resident species songbirds, waterfowl, and mammals. Spring at Indian Creek is vibrant, full of bird activity, and offers a rich array of bird sightings

Please bring: Binoculars, water, insect and tick repellent, snacks.

Meeting Place: Indian Creek Nature Center, Rensselear Falls, NY.

  • Meet at the main entrance located on County Rt 14, Rensselaer Falls, approximately 5.3 miles off State Route 68 North.
