Introduction to Merlin Bird ID App and eBird Mobile App (May 11th + 13th)

These free classes are for novice birders who want to learn how to use the Merlin Bird ID app (May 11th class) and the eBird Mobile app (May 13th class).

Class size is limited to 12. Preference will be given to NNYA members. The classes are co-sponsored by the Town of Plattsburgh. The classes are designed for iPhone users.

Before the first class, please download the free Merlin Bird ID by Cornell App to your phone, and under settings, install the US: Northeast Bird Pack. Also, please download the free eBird Mobile by Cornell App to your phone and under settings, install the New York Bird Pack. Merlin and eBird use the same username and password.

A follow-up practice field trip will be held at Point Au Roche State Park on Saturday morning, May 16th.

Meeting Place: Town of Plattsburgh Office Building, 151 Banker Rd. (Drive by the Court Entrance and use the Town Hall Entrance to the parking lot). Please try to arrive a few minutes before 5pm, and someone will be at the doorway to let you in.
