Crown Point Bird Outing

Meeting Location: Main parking lot in front of the museum, 21 Grandview Drive in Crown Point, NY.

Bring: Please wear comfortable walking shoes, binoculars, water and insect repellent. Spotting scope and/or cameras are optional.

Description: This walk will cover approximately 2 miles during peak fall migration. We’ll look for songbirds, waterfowl, shorebirds, and raptors along the shores of Lake Champlain. A portion of the Crown Point SHS has been designated as an IBA (Important Bird Area) by New York State and boasts over 200 species observed.
