This outing is co-sponsored by Northern New York Audubon and the Town of Plattsburgh Recreation Department. Join Betsy Miner, Mar Bodine, and Ken Adams for a morning of birding at Ausable Point Campground.

We’ll bird along the road leading into the campground, stop at the marsh overlook, and make our way out toward Lake Champlain. Fall migration is an exciting time to be out birding—you never know what species might be passing through!

Birders of all experience levels are welcome. Group size is limited to 20 participants, with priority given to Town of Plattsburgh residents and NNYA members. A limited number of binoculars and spotting scopes will be available to borrow.

Meeting Location: Please park on the right-hand side before going through the campground booth.

What to bring: Binoculars, a snack, water, and sunscreen.
